State awards Muncie $640,000 for west side trail

When a walking/biking trail was included in the Morrison Road widening project five years ago, one city official called it "a sidewalk to nowhere."

It's true that, for a long time, the trail ended near the Unitarian Universalist Church on the north end and at the Morrison roundabout on the south end. But now it's going places — on both ends.
