Arts & Culture

The Arts & Culture Project Management Team (PMT) is the newest of Next Muncie’s strategic initiatives. The PMT is charged with creating a monthly meeting opportunity where the leaders and influencers of Muncie's arts and culture scene meet informally with the purpose of discussing upcoming events, meeting each other on a personal level, and understanding the bridge points of Muncie's art organizations. As these relationships are built organically, Muncie will move closer to creating an arts alliance or coalition—with the ultimate goal of enhancing Muncie's “branding” as a great place to live with exciting things to do.

A long-term goal of the Arts & Culture PMT is to work with Destination: Muncie and other arts organizations to create an arts and culture community-wide event or series of events as well as a unified calendar of events.
